Drama

• Engage in teamwork while fostering all aspects of childhood development through fun activities and group performances.

• Each term we either have a theme or a play to focus on while learning and practicing theatrical skills.

• Find your passion and develop self-expression by taking a journey into the creative exploration of theatre arts; acting, stage & prop design, music, movement, magic, and much more.

• Hone critical and imaginative thinking through improvisational activities and games. Build self-confidence by creating new connections and friendships in a secure multicultural environment.

• Improve communicative, interpersonal, and socio-emotional skills; which are applicable to numerous aspects of daily life.

Magic: Curtain Up Conjurers

• In Magic, we work on building confidence and showmanship through learning magic tricks. Magic is a long appreciated form of theatre!

• Not only do our apprentices develop their fine and gross motor skills; by learning the trick mechanics and practicing, they also get to dip their toes into the world of drama and performance! This helps them develop their socio-emotional skills as well as inspire their imagination when creating their Magicians Stage Name and persona.

• Each week, we teach skills such as sleight of hand, misdirection, audience engagement, and even counting cards for the KS2 programmes. Both KS1 and KS2 courses culminate in a Magic Show for students' families who are invited to watch and be amazed!
